Plugin Settings
To adjust the Client and Product Testimonial Pro plugin settings you’ll want to head into ‘Settings’ page found under the ‘Testimonial’ menu item (Tesimonials > Settings). On the settings page you’ll find all the plugin options used to control numerous aspects of the plugin from the type of testimonial certain display aspects of the plugin.
Plugin settings explained in detail:
Clients or Products: This setting will toggle between Client testimonials and Product testimonials.
Grid Image Size: The grid image size adjusts the size of each item in the testimonial grid. This setting will only adjust the image sizes when using the shortcode [testimonial-grid].
Grid Excerpt: The grid excerpt setting adjusts the length of the testimonial excerpt overlaid on the images displayed in the testimonial grid. This setting will only adjust the excerpt length of the [testimonial-grid] shortcode.
Star Ratings: The star ratings setting allows you to enable or disable the star ratings for all testimonials. This will remove the ability to leave star ratings on announcements, will hide previously stored ratings from the front end and will also prevent new submissions from containing star ratings.
Empty Star Visibility: Toggle the visibility of empty stars on the front end of the site. For example, if a user leaves a 3 star rating by default it will display 3 filled stars and 2 empty stars. If you want only the filled stars to be displayed on the front end of your site, toggle this setting to hidden.
Fallback Image: Toggle the use of the fallback image on the front end of the site. If you neglect to include a profile photo when creating new testimonials, or a user forgets to attach one to their submission – the fallback image will be used instead. Client and Product Testimonial Pro comes bundled with a default fallback image, but you can adjust which image is used as the fallback in the next setting.
No Profile Photo Image: By default the bundled fallback image will be used when no profile photo is set, but you can set a new profile photo to be used here. This image is used when you don’t have, or forget to assign, a profile image to a testimonial. It will also be assigned to testimonials submitted by new users who don’t attach one.
